Rhinoplasty Can Treat:
- Size and shape of the nose to better match facial balance
- Nasal asymmetry and deviations
- Bumps or indentations on the nasal profile
- Breathing difficulties due to structural issues
About the procedure
While the shape of your nose is usually the result of heredity, the appearance may have been altered in an injury or during prior surgery. Rhinoplasty surgery can change the size, width and profile of your nose, the shape of your nostrils, your nasal tip and any asymmetry or deviation.
How It’s Done
We will begin with a small incision made across the narrow strip of tissue that separates the nostrils and the inside of the nose. Additional incisions may be made in the natural creases of the nostrils to alter their size.
Post-Op Care
After rhinoplasty, patients typically wear a nasal splint for the first week. You may experience swelling, bruising around the eyes, and mild discomfort that can be managed with medication.
Upper Eyelid Option
After surgery, your face will be wrapped in a bulky, soft dressing. It is important that you avoid any exertion following surgery to minimize bruising and swelling.
Risks and Side Effects
Rhinoplasty carries the usual risks of surgery, including infection, bleeding, and reactions to anesthesia. Specific to nose surgery, there’s a small risk of breathing difficulties and nosebleeds.
Most issues can be corrected with minor revisions, while proper care and following your surgeon’s instructions can significantly minimize side effects.

Is Nose Reshaping Right For Me?
A rhinoplasty procedure is a good option for you if:
- Your facial growth is complete
- Are physically healthy
- Are a non-smoker
- You have specific but realistic goals in mind
Non-Surgical Alternatives
Rhinoplasty is the only permanent solution for nose restructuring, but non-surgical approaches like dermal fillers offer a temporary alternative for minor reshaping.
These treatments can subtly refine facial contours and may offer a glimpse into potential changes before deciding on surgery.
