Trusted Arm Lift Solutions in Calgary

Significant weight loss can lead to sagging skin and stubborn fat staying on the upper arms. An arm lift, or brachioplasty, effectively reshapes the upper arm, smoothing the contour for a more toned appearance

An Arm Lift Can Target:

  • Loose, sagging skin on the upper arms
  • Excess fat deposits in the upper arm region
  • Lack of definition and contour in the arm shape
  • Reduced skin elasticity on the arms due to aging or weight loss

At Plastic Surgery Associates, we’ll guide you on your journey to your most confident self with safe, uplifting and empowering procedures.

Armlift 1

An incision will be made on the inside of the upper arm to remove the excess skin and fat. While a permanent scar will result, it will be on the least visible area and will improve with time.

Armlift 2

An arm lift can be performed with or without fat removal, depending on individual needs. When included, fat removal, typically through liposuction, targets excess fat in the upper arms, contouring and slimming them down for a more sculpted appearance.

Armlift 3

After your arm lift surgery, compression garments may be applied to your arms to minimize swelling and support healing. Rest is crucial; avoid lifting or strenuous activity to ensure optimal recovery and reduce the risk of complications.

As with any surgery, an arm lift carries risks, including scarring along the incision lines. Temporary numbness, swelling, and bruising are common but usually improve over time. Rare complications can include infection and changes in skin sensation.
